- Is Putin indeed pessimistic about a potential US’ invasion of Iran?
- Does he, together with Bush, play a part so to justify the forthcoming UN sanctions on Iran?
- Or he can’t foresee the future himself?

At least in the media, the "Iran-WTO" fragile balance seems to creak.

While obviously it is not interesting for the US to start a war in Iran and to jeopardise any chance to be able to fuel with gas in the upcoming future the "liberal" half of Europe, Russia's WTO accession could also be a major inconvenient for the Western superpower, possibly more inconvenient than a war in Iran, mainly not by the alleged economic advantages that Russia would obtain if joining the WTO, but by the clear YES or NO answer that the US must give to Russia, unlike the complex Iranian energetic answer that Russia is, in turn, supposed to give to the US.

Coincidence:
